If Arke was surprised to find Iris standing at her doorstep it didn’t show. The dark haired twin had the tousled more then a little rumbled look that said she had just crawled out of bed. She peered at Iris, eye lids still heavy from sleep and there was a part of Arke that wanted to shut the door, open it again and not find her sister standing there. Instead she opted to step to one side a clear signal for Iris to come in.
The house was quiet, the other inhabitants having left to start their own daily routines. Arke didn’t bother to shut the door, immediately making her way past the living room full of mismatched furniture to the kitchen full of broken appliances and jabbed the start button on the coffee maker. Only when it gurgled to a semblance of life did the titaness speak.
“Took you longer then I thought, Rainbow.” Arke drawled, rummaging around the cupboard for a set of mugs.
