Who: Arke, Iris What: One messenger tracks down the other Where: San Diego, California When: Wednesday afternoon Warnings: None
What finally decided it for her was the feeling that if she was going to suffer for something, she rather it be something she did as opposed to didn't do.
She had wanted to be able to see her sister because she'd been invited to, not because she'd tracked her down, but that clearly wasn't going to happen any time soon. Arke had called her, yes, but that had been completely unexpected - and brief, besides. Iris hadn't expected a repeat. It had been difficult to resist reaching out and tracking her twin, especially since it would have been so easy. No, she wanted to give Arke however much privacy and anonymity she wanted...but in the end, Iris couldn't keep to it. Iris wasn't the one who wanted them to stay apart, she couldn't pretend as though her other half was still locked away and unreachable. Arke was her sister, her twin, and Iris missed her.
This was why she had found herself standing on the beach, watching the water sparkle under the sunlight and lap up against the shore. She only took in the sight for a couple of moments before turning and making her way to where she knew her sister was. There was no hesitation before she raised her hand and knocked on the door...she had made her decision, and she was going to stick by it.
