Patrick stayed where he was, hiding in the palms of his hands, and he tried to think through the pounding of his head. This was not the first time he had awoken in a stranger's bed. It was not the first time he had been in a drunken fight. He had spent the last several weeks trying to hide his drinking habits from his brother.
