If not for the utter seriousness of the situation Thetis probably would have laughed at Achilles' answers. As it was, she was shaking her head as she tried to find the best way to phrase her thoughts, knowing that regardless of how she put it the true impetus to change would be on Achilles himself and not in her words.
"Of course not, nothing that's worth doing is ever easy." It was as if he had never learned to find a way to integrate the past with the present, something that she knew was difficult and yet had to be done. "Have you ever thought about asking around to see if you could find an immortal therapist? If there is one out there perhaps they could assist you better. If not then we'll just have to find someone who you feel has what it takes to help you."
