Bret tried not to glance at Tommy when he felt his foot nudged and resisted the urge to nudge him back. He knew he wasn't supposed to mention the other Harvey, but it was sort of hard when that was his boss. It wasn't like it was a mention with any context... Oh well. He nodded at Harvey, though, and smiled - "And a co-director of public relations can learn a lot from someone in your position, so it's nice..."
His canted his head towards Mark and then shook his head. "No, I don't think so, but I'd love to meet her. It's hard for me to find a day off, Mondays are the only day I don't have a performance. But it would be great to branch out and get more people involved, that's the point after all." He gave Mark another smile, shifting a little in his chair so it looked like he was getting a little more comfortable when really he was brushing his leg up against Tommy's.
He laughed, though, at Mark's expression when Tommy brought up him changing parties. "Well, I move around so much that I haven't had residency anywhere for long enough to register, and I was seventeen when I left California. So I've gone unforgivably unregistered under any party. But Tommy makes a good argument. But I figure... I can be registered under the Marijuana Party and still vote Democratic if there's no one from my party on the ballot," he shrugged casually. "Maybe spending all this time around activists has rubbed off on my finally," he laughed.
