"Good." Narcissus said, waving the waiter over and placing both of their orders. It might have seemed a nice gesture, to order for Echo when she would have had a hard time communicating what she wanted to the waiter, but he actually just presumed to know what she wanted. He considerer himself pretty knowledgeable about what she craved and what put her off by this time. After the waiter had left, he continued. "I took the dogs for a walk this morning, they're doing very well actually. Getting along just fine and the training is coming along good. They'll be good with Bastian, I'm sure." He took a sip of his water. "I also went through the nursery, just making sure we have everything-- we do, which is fantastic."
He leaned forward, propping his chin in his hand. "So what do you think? It's a nice place, isn't it? I charmed my way into getting us reservations tonight." He winked at her playfully, trying to flex his charisma as much as possible. Like any narcissist, Narcissus wasn't too keen on putting himself in a position to be rejected, so he had to build up his pride.
