David laughed as they got outside. "The people! Oh their faces- Patrick, you look- let me look at you." He clasped his hands on Patrick's shoulders, holding him out at arm's length. Patrick didn't look any older, but he looked more worn, perhaps, around the eyes. Just the experience of the last hundred years or so, he guessed. And there was the scruffiness too. Had he always been this scruffy? "Ah but it's good to see you. I didn't realise how isolated I was until now."
