David had been deep in prayer, so much so that he hadn't noticed the pull of another immortal. Perhaps he was so unused to feeling it that he didn't notice the little jump in his brain. Being nudged made him blink, eyes coming back into focus, and he turned his head.
"My prayers are answered!" he exclaimed, a little louder than he intended to, and a few curious heads turned in his direction, which he ignored. "Patrick! How the gosh darn are you!" He grinned widely, and couldn't help himself from throwing his arms around his brother, pulling him into a tight hug. "I was hoping I'd find you here, I just didn't dare to hope it'd be so quickly! Although of course, it's Sunday and this is your church- should we go outside?" He was trying to keep his voice low, but it was quiet in the cathedral and sound carried, even whispers.
