Stalked by a lion. Also, holy tl;dr. sorry
Legion may have been watching the people around them, but so was the Snow Lion. Actually, the Snow Lion was watching just one particular person(s) right now, and that was the young woman.
He'd seen her out the corner of his eye earlier this morning and disregarded her as just another person in the melting pot of the city. New York was so full of people and deities that there were lines of power everywhere, always waging for the lion's attention. It had gotten to a point where Dga' was starting to learn to ignore them. But there had been something about that woman that had caused him to turn around and look again.
Something wasn't right.
He had watched her walk away and then gone on with his daily business. But the feeling wouldn't go away. And since curiosity kill the cat, off went the lion to find her again. It wasn't difficult either; she was like two many strings of thought, too many wants, all tied together in a messy bow. He'd never met anyone like this before.
That was why right now, a kid was standing across the street some ways off just watching her. And since kids don't have a huge problem with staring, there was really little out of the ordinary here. Of course, those powerful enough might instead notice an impossibly large lion laying in wait, also staring. This might have been a little bit less reassuring.
