There is something in the way Who: Triteia (triteia) What: Mundane Wednesday morning on a tropical island, apple-carrot juice, a rainbow-coloured scarf, and pineapple cake. Where: Hawaii When: Wednesday morning Warnings: None
Slipping out before the others woke up, a bottle of apple-carrot juice in her hand, Triteia hopped into the cab which would take her to her grandpapa's home. There was a brief moment of panic when she thought she'd forgotten to pocket any money because it was still early and she would have hated to wake Poseidon just because of her forgetfulness. Just as the cab driver took a deep breath to start yelling, she dug out a handful of bills out of her purse and handed two of them over.
The nymph wrapped her colourful scarf around her head, taking special care to conceal every part of her face except for her eyes, and snuck up to the front door where she carefully put the juice and a small box containing bite-sized pineapple cakes on the ground. They hadn't seen much of each other and spoken even less because he must have been busy building his new house and she had been fussing and fussing and fussing some more over Amaterasu, but she hoped he had not had his Zen ruined by whoever was trying to do exactly that.
The house seemed so quiet. Nothing at all like the palace she grew up in. But then nothing was like it used to be anymore.
Pinning a small note that said the cakes were from her on top of the box, she wandered away and headed for the beach.
