"Now, now..." Harvey said, bringing two plates over to the counter and sitting them in front of Glibt and Paul, picking his own up and moving to sit on the other side facing them, "I'm getting better at not overworking myself, so I better not hear any complaining about that.
Somehow in the huge conversation, Harvey and Paul had managed to put together a fairly decent dinner. Chicken with cheese and tomatoes and a the vegetables that Harvey had been cutting up when the conversation started. Maybe that was a testament to how many serious conversations and/or arguments Harvey had had while he was trying to do something else. At any rate, it was all done and Harvey hadn't burnt anything, so he considered it a success. And it was better than take-out.
"He is getting better about not bringing work home with him," Paul added, smiling over at Harvey. "But I'm sure I can find plenty of other things to complain about, though," he grinned. Harvey just rolled his eyes playfully and pretended like he was ignoring the comment. "So..." Paul started a little hesitantly, "what about now? You said something about proximity. I mean... do you get any feelings about people when you're right next to them?" He was referring to himself, of course. He knew his own history and he knew how much of it Harvey knew, but he wondered if Glibt could just pick up on anything else... if he knew specifics of just general feelings of things. It had him a little worried, but much more intrigued.
