Elisabeth thanked Patroclus when he handed her her schnapps and after she took a sip, she smiled again at Achilles. "I do speak truth," she said, to acknowledge what he had stated. "And I do it often if I choose to speak at all. I'm just as happy not." Elisabeth was just as happy reading a book as talking to someone. She could go entire days without saying word one to anyone.
"But don't worry," she said with a grin. "I won't fall silent now. Unless you want me to." And then she took another drink of her schnapps.
