"Others can wait," Achilles announced though he knew he would have been the same had Patroclus walked up to one of his movie sets. They were men of hard work and perseverance, and what they needed to do was important though times were different than days of wielding a sword.
Achilles sat upright. "You know I have no taste for alcohol," though he had managed to break through that on certain occasions. Maybe tonight was such an occasion. He did not speak for some time even after Elisabeth ordered her own drink.
"The day has exasperated me," he huffed, taking off his black jacket and laying it on an empty chair. If Patroclus were careful, he would not forget what the day had brought.
