There's a moment of rare, stunned silence as the younger god attempts to process. His face falls. He can't even imagine what his father, sister and aunt had been through.
And his mother....
Anubis hangs his head, staring at the ground with something rather like shock. The howls snap him back to reality, however, whipping his head to face the oncoming storm and his uncle's lone, uncorrupted...you know, desperate as the situation was, it still looked like a cross between an anteater, and aardvark, and a pokemon. He doesn't put up the least bit of resistance when his father takes him by the arm, keeping alongside him with hurried steps.
"Right. Because Set's usually just so cheerful." The death god grumbles, dourly. To be fair, most of his experiences with his uncle had been...awkward, at best, and downright upsetting at worst. Fortunately, Anubis had a thoroughly excellent answer for his father's question.
"Getting out of here is easy. Just don't let go of me, " He says, gripping his father with his other arm.
