"Dude, you don't want to go to Australia anyway," George said solemnly, sitting back down at the table. "Everything there is trying to kill people. Not just the snakes, but the sharks and the jellyfish and some of the regular fish too. And the poisonous lizards. And the dingos. And those rabbits that are breeding out of control. It's a deathtrap."
"But," he added brightly, "it's much safer here in New York. The snakes hibernate or whatever snakes do when it gets cold."
