Grinning, Echo stared up at him with wide eyes unable to mask her growing lust for him. She held still for as long as she could, resisting the urge to wrap her arms around him and never let him go, but she didn't want to take a chance that he might not be ready for that type of gesture. He was being incredibly sweet, and all she could think about was being in his arms and seeing where things could lead. Heart beating wildly, she rest one hand over her stomach. It was all she could do to remind herself of everything that could possibly complicate matters between them, taking his hand and following him wherever he decided to lead her.
Maybe she was being stupid. Maybe she was biting off more than she could chew and this would end horribly. All she was sure of was that in the space of that kiss she had a vision of what things could be like with him and she liked what she had seen. Echo should have been looking towards the future, considering what would be best for her and for Bastian, but her emotional needs were trumping the logical ones which was probably obvious by the way she held onto his hand for dear life, not wanting this evening to end.
"Hungry..." she shrugged, food not really as important as certain other needs were at the moment.
