Echo, all smiles now that her initial hesitation had passed, turned her face slightly to make sure that all Pan ended up kissing was her cheek. For now, she would do her best to adhere to the command Narcissus gave her, even if she did feel it was beyond ridiculous. She bristled slightly knowing that he obviously didn't trust her, but she conceded that if not for Bastian he hadn't given her much reason to stay with him.
Her current attraction could be simply a passing phase, or something more, but that depended upon Pan.
She had made no secret of the fact that she had baggage. The fact that said baggage had been growing inside her for around seven and a half months imposing his will on her waistline made her question her outlook on everything. She had a hard time believing that someone as attractive and vital as Pan would want to be with her in any sense when he had to understand that she could never abandon her child. So what did he see in her?
Pulling back after he kissed her cheek, she waited for him to invite her in. Glancing at his outfit, feeling somewhat overdressed, she envied him and his ability to wear jeans. Sneaking a look past him at the apartment, both amazed and amused by the state it was in. On one hand she appreciated the fine mess, on the other hand her pregnancy-induced OCD was screaming at her to clean this place. Echo stamped down that urge for the time being, knowing that he was a big boy and probably liked his place in this state. Even if it did look like a bomb had exploded in here. Moving her fingers slowly, she signed at him. 'I hadn't eaten yet, so I brought dinner. Hope you don't mind, my keeper agreed we could have dinner but I'm not to touch you or let you touch me.' Her expression conveyed all the sarcasm her lack of words couldn't.
"You look lovely," she repeated, blinking as her eyes met his. "As always."
