WHO: Nephthys, Isis and Osiris
WHEN: Late Monday night
WHERE: Isis and Osiris' apartment
WHAT: Delivering the head

Back in New York Nephthys returned to her apartment, letting the mortal girl inside and locking the door behind them. Cara, she knew, wasn't going to run to Apep and tell him anything - that much, at least, was clear. Her husband's worshiper was free now of the poison of evil gods and she would, with time, be alright. For now though the girl was tired, and Nephthys settled Cara into her own bed so she could sleep.

Then from the duffel bag she drew out Set's head, putting it in the freezer for safekeeping. The other head stayed in the bag and she took it from the apartment, closing the door behind her quietly.

To the apartment building of her siblings Nephthys went, making a phonecall to Shesmu on her way there and asking him to go make sure Cara remained in the apartment and safe.

At Isis apartment she waited to be buzzed in and then went up, knocking on her sister's door, bag slung over her shoulder, the toll of the last few weeks evident on her features.
