"I don't know," Mark answered with an easy grin. "Are you going to do an Obama Birther story on tonight's news? Then I might punch you. Maybe more than that."
He lifted the bottle to his lips and took a swig. Still smiling after John had made himself comfortable at the table, Mark cast a glance around the restaurant. People were looking, but they hadn't yet gotten to the point where they were causing a commotion. Right now Times Square tourists were just getting a thrill, seeing two of the country's most prominent newsmen dining together. He wouldn't miss this, not at all, when it was next time to change identities. Privacy shouldn't have become a luxury.
