"I'm not saying I don't like it!" Dylan prostested, holding his hands up in a defesive gesture. "It's just that it's not normal, you know, for mortals' friends to change genders just like that." It was so strange. The man before him was just like Salvia in everything but gender. Even the voice, despite being a different tone, seemed exactly the same. The face had almost the same construction just - more male. "And, where did you get the idea that I like boys more than girls? You're my friend, it doesn't-" He fell silent and blinked twice, then shook his head. "It shouldn't make a difference. You're good no matter what."
Dylan turned his head to look across the park, smiling at the shapes in the shadows that the different foliage made. "I bet all your plants are growing beautifully." He said with a smile, and turned his head to look back at Salvia. "Hey, um, do you have any more of your leaves on you? You've got people selling in the city, but your leaves are always the freshest. You know, I can see more stuff."
