"I missed you, too." Dylan replied sincerely. It was the truth, he was coming to find, with each passing moment it was becoming more and more true. He had missed his brightness, this little beam of sunshine. "And I won't hide again without telling you, I just had a lot of mortal things I had to deal with. Dave, you know." He frowned and pressed his lips together in a thin line, ducking his head for a moment. He raised his head once more and when he continued to speak, his voice was thick.
"I was really sad." Dylan said simply. "I'm still a little sad, too." He added, "I don't think any kind of medicine could help, I just needed to be a little alone. But I don't want to be alone anymore, okay? So I won't disappear, and things are going to be alright, now." He smiled, and let his hands rest in the grass. "So how are you, Sal? Good? It's so- I mean it's strange that you're a guy now. Why- why did you do that?"
