The weary smile came automatically to him, the one that hadn't changed in the thousands of years that had passed. Eight parts happiness with seeing an old face mixed with two parts of sadness and helplessness that lingered from the first time he saw light in the new world again.
The three words that came out from Thaumas' mouth made Poseidon laugh. He never cared much for all of that in the past but to hear it now when it was completely irrelevant and out of context was nine parts funny, one part sad.
