Kieran couldn't remember the last time someone had conversed with him without issue, though conversation seemed to flow easily between them as she patiently answered his questions. He would not go so far as to say he was impressed by her grace and tact, though he was getting close to that point. If he could ever consider himself to be the type to get distracted by someone's appearance she was a perfect candidate, though currently his only interest in her was almost academic in nature. The pride in her voice was deserved, her house was indeed a marvel.
"Is that so? Perhaps I have not been in the city long enough to see it, or in keeping my head down I've been able to miss the worst of it." He knew not that she spoke more of pantheon related things as opposed to hoodlums and street rats, but the fact that both were not mere mortals seemed to exist unacknowledged between them. He had a feeling she knew he was not what he seemed, much as he knew she was. It didn't need to be said, for now the focus was on architecture and not on anything personal.
"All hail the power of the internet, then. I have heard installation to be the hardest part. Did you need to do anything to the land to promote the growing of such plants, or are the flora actually adapted to this locale?" His knowledge of plants was somewhat weak, though his question sprung from seeing what she had accomplished.
"If you wouldn't mind tea would be lovely, and I would enjoy a little exploring." He paused, a question coming to mind. "Do you find yourself getting visited by many spiders? I do enjoy their web work."
