sorry for the delay - here, have a bonus Asclepius for your troubles
A brief smile flitted across Lennon's face as he managed to catch her words. Well, at least her sense of humour was still intact. "Better late than never," he said dryly. "Now miss, you just stay nice and calm, and we'll get this all sorted out."
He looked up at the circle of bystanders. "Well, don't just stand there gawping," he barked. "Someone call a doctor or an ambulance. This young lady needs help." Lennon reluctantly carried a mobile phone (he hated modern technology with a vengeance), but it was in his pocket, and he thought he heard a crunching sound as he hit the pavement.
Good riddance to bad rubbish.
"Here, let me through." The crowd parted as a brown haired young man pushed through. "I'm a doctor," was all he said, before kneeling down next to Lennon and the girl. "We can take her to the nearest hospital, but I need to see her first."
Asclepius peered around the older man to get a closer look at the girl, and gasped as soon as he saw her face.
