Blake preened at Adonis' words about the editor; trading compliments was probably his favorite hobby...second only to simply receiving compliments, of course. He nodded to the newcomers - they all knew each other, though in passing - and waiting for the introductions to end. Dana grinned widely at Adonis, a bit starry eyed and suddenly seeming quite a bit less harried. "A pleasure to see you as well, Mr. Islington..." she said happily, toying with her food. two men nodded before falling into a hushed conversation about something that seemed to concern Jord's speech and volume levels, though no one could really hear it but them.
Once things had died down, Blake turned and looked at Adonis again. "Anyway, I'm sure he mentioned that piece they keep trying to write on me..."
"Which you need to hurry up and pin down before they lose interest and move on..." Jord added, giving the man a maternal sort of look.
"Right, I know, I just want to get my spring collection at least a little fleshed out first. And I need to get everything together, which brings me full circle." He gave Adonis a smirk, drawing out the moment by taking a bite and chewing thoughtfully. "What I mean is that I'll do things proper and contact your agent, Mr. Islington, if you would like. But I want to discuss this GQ article and I will need your card, or your agents card, to do so..."
Jord was smirking wildly. Success already, and the night had barely begun. Of course, Blake was one person and she still had every intention of helping Adonis meet all those people that he needed to meet. But as far as she could see, things couldn't be going better...except if the other Greeks were gone...but that was a trifling matter, really. Her power was growing exponentially and her announcement would only streamline and increase that. Adonis was making all the right impressions with the right people, and things were, in general, going swimmingly. She poured another glass of champagne. "Well then boys, cheers."
