Narcissus watched, trying to keep the look of disgust from showing. He loved olives just as much as any other Greek, but on an english muffin with apples, peanut butter, and brown sugar? That just didn't set right with him. Still, his limited knowledge of pregnancy told him that weird cravings like that were normal. At least he could take comfort in that.
"Yes, for Bastian. And I think we can both agree that having both of his parents involved would be what's best for him." He sighed, a bit too dramatically. No one could ever argue that he wasn't a drama king. "Echo, darling." He stood up and moved around to her side of the table, crouching down to so that they were face to face. "I don't want to take Bastian from you. I don't want to involve lawyers, or custody, or visitation. I just want what's best for him. And I believe what's best for him is if we put all of this behind us. And that includes past relationships." He placed his hand on her belly once more, rubbing in a circular motion.
