That she was late was to be expected, and Belphegor was hardly bothered. He knew the address she’d given him couldn’t be far from where she was staying, but he didn’t go looking. He stayed in the limo instead, having a drink and just enjoying doing nothing. He ignored the curious looks the car drew, knowing full well he could have had at least a couple of the inquiring souls if he’d wanted to.
He did not.
The door was unlocked for her, and Belphegor even went as far as to open it when she neared. He settled back after doing so, smiling slightly and watching her. Sloth. It had been a while, but Belphegor didn’t see anything that surprised him. Same Sin, same Demon, same feeling……except for the little issue that had slowly been festering between them.
