Let's waste time. Who: Sloth [torpor ] & Triphop [bristolsound ] What: First meetings. It's not exactly a riotous time. When: Wednesday evening, April 14. Where: On some rooftop somewhere. Warning: Drug use, excessive amounts of sleeping, Triphop being weird, ewwww.
Typically, Sloth loved staying inside and sleeping away the hours, with random periods of gaming, eating, and watching TV interspersed within her busy snoozing schedule. It was a lesser known fact that she actually enjoyed climbing out of the den and spreading her laziness elsewhere, mostly because people assumed things about lazy people that were simply... untrue. Sloth had nothing against sunshine--she enjoyed it just fine, considering some of her best catnaps were taken while curled up in the sun--it was more a matter of her being too unmotivated to leave the apartment in pursuit of it.
She'd ventured out this morning for the first time in at least a week, mostly because there was construction in her building and it was disrupting her rest, but also because even she needed a change of scenery once in a while. Her morning had consisted of walking around aimlessly, eating some nondescript fried snack food she'd bought from one of the many ethnic street-vendors, and encouraging some tired man to fall asleep at the wheel of his car, thus causing a monstrous wreckage.
All-in-all, it had been a decent enough day. She stumbled upon a party not too long after she woke up from a spontaneous nap on a park bench, and meandered in to hang out for a while. The people were chill and the gathering was fun, but Sloth as a general rule was a party killer unless at least one of her other kin was around to combat the overwhelming sluggishness she exuded, so it had eventually boiled down to everyone laying around listening to psytrance and doing various drugs. Sloth hadn't felt like getting high, so she'd meandered upward in the building, which somehow had landed her on the roof.
It wasn't a particularly high roof, and the view wasn't particularly amazing, but Sloth curled her knees to her chest and sat as close to the edge as she dared [which was slightly closer than a non-immortal might have] and stared out aimlessly over the city, allowing her mind to wander.
