"Sweet sister!" Echo brightly responded, returning the embrace happily. She was aware that her stomach was visibly bigger than when she last saw Daphne, but she smiled proudly. Daphne had proven that she would brave her fears for her, Echo couldn't believe that she had made it.
Taking the venison, she blushed noticeably as she felt Narcissus approach and stand behind her. Glancing up over her shoulder at him, she held up the wrapped venison and nodded slightly when he mentioned wanting a roast. That she could do, easily. Moving aside to bring the venison into the kitchen, she murmured Narcissus' last words. "So much about you."
Knowing that Daphne might not feel comfortable shaking Narcissus' hand, she put the meat down on the table and began to unwrap it, deliberately calling attention to herself and giving Daphne a bit of a reprieve.
