Achilles was none too pleased with her greeting because it left him standing there looking imprudent. She had her reasons, but they did nothing to appease him. Her attentions quickly went to his son, and it was a welcomed diversion, or Achilles would have arrogantly had something else to say in his defense, and the way she intentionally teased him.
Achilles was not nearly as socially apt as his son may have suspected. There was still a rather disagreeable nature to large crowds, busy places and ignorant people. Places like this fought his head, making too much noise when it was crowded inside his mind already. He bared through it, and with the proper and appealing company the mere details could be overlooked.
"Why such a location," Achilles demanded of Absinthe, the choice reminiscent of their first meeting.
