Who: Clio and Pallas What: Making History, aka Clio's too curious for her own good Where: Comfort Diner When: Backdated to last Saturday, March 13th Warnings: TBD
They said curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back. In many cases, this was true about Clio. When events took place that should be written down, and those that would make history, she couldn't help herself. She pried, asked questions, and looked for those mortals she could influence until the need to make sure everything was written down correctly was sated. But in this case, she couldn't find mortals. The belief in Gods and Titans alike was waning.
Once upon a time, Gods, mortals, and everything alike had practically run down her door to be made famous. It had gone to her head, and she'd paid a steep price for it. But she still felt the need to do this, even if everyone thought she was off her rocker.
She'd found a comfortable spot. Private enough where she knew her conversation wouldn't be overheard, but in enough public eye where she felt safe. Which then made her feel guilty. She prided herself on her neutrality, and a few words from Apollo had made her paranoid. With a sigh she pushed all that aside and focused on the task at hand. Her scrolls sat beside her, waiting for her guest.
She would keep her promise and pay for breakfast, even if she got nothing out of this. Even if no one came, at least the day was nice enough to enjoy it, and Gods knew she needed to get out now and again.
