WHO: Heavy Metal & Blues
WHEN: Monday night
WHERE: Terra Blues club
WHAT: Two alcoholic Music Gods attempting to kill boredom
WARNINGS: Metal's language and copious amounts of booze?
Terra Blues was not the sort of place that Metal would usually be found. Her clubs were so often dark and sleazy with the sound of the music pounding through the walls until you could feel it reverberating through your ribcage. A blues club? Well, it was different to say the least. But then, her own music had been born from blues in a way, the classic rock and roll drawing in psychedelia and bluesy improvisations, turning from one thing to another and then resulting in her own little tune, each of those then branching off into the dozens of little metal sub-genres as well. She supposed this origin was the reason that there was still something in the music of blues that appealed to her, even after all these years.
She supposed, also, that this might have been part of the reason for her small crush on the Blues God.
Metal couldn't pinpoint when it had started exactly and before tonight she'd never acted on it at all. It had always just been there, lingering and silent and slightly confusing. She liked to tell herself that she just liked the idea of someone who could drink as much as she could, but if that was the case then she could have just stayed around Goth. (Confusing feelings there as well, since they'd slept together. A desire she'd never realised she held but now wanted more of.) But despite the fact that she had invited Blues out to drink, and invited him to do so at a bar she knew he'd like, this wasn't a date. And not just because Metal didn't do the whole 'dating' thing either.
The corsetted black dress she had chosen - the skirt slit up the sides so she could ride her motorbike - was at the more casual end of her wardrobe. Because while it wasn't her every day jeans and band t-shirt, it also didn't have even a little bit of PVC or leather. (Other than the coat which she'd already removed as she approached the bar.)
Scanning the club she didn't see Blues around yet and so she sat down, ordering herself a whiskey to start the evening.
