Absinthe was happy. There where few times she truly wasn't, but even those passed easily enough when her attentions where diverted. But now, she had a potential artist to inspire. Alicia had warned her just springing on the girl wouldn't be enough. That nowadays people where wary of things that looked too good to be true. Absinthe did not believe her. But then again, Absinthe still lived in the mindset of Paris. Where the entire country had sworn by her. Why would one little artist not be honored to be chosen by her?
And ever since she'd visited Pernod Et Fils, the distillery Absinthe felt personally responsible for her birth, and learned they where still patrons of the arts she wanted to mimic them. Surely the girl would be thrilled once she learned Absinthe was serious. And from there, Absinthe was certain it wouldn't take long for the girl to drink of her, to chase the Green Fairy.
Alicia just shook her head and gave it two weeks before Absinthe would simply forget and move onto The Next Big Thing. The Goddess wasn't well known for completing her projects. The few dozen regulars the cafe had, who had been lured into Absinthe's home with the promise of greatness and then cast aside when Absinthe's attentions had gone elsewhere, proved that theory.
Absinthe had dressed, rather then wear her usual revealing outfits, and paced in her cafe. She wanted the girl to like her, but then again Absinthe felt it was impossible not to like her, and be a dutiful follower. With a sigh she sat down and poured herself a glass. She wouldn't push, but she'd not be her if the offer wouldn't be there.
