Sometimes, Clio really wished life was simpler. When she could just ignore the things her half crazed family did and try and move on with her life. Sadly, she wasn't that lucky. She'd felt something going on, and then with Terpsichore informing her that their family was repeating it's own tales again, she thought that was it. She'd have sighed and recorded what needed to be recorder in the vague hope that someone would learn.
After a few hundred or so years, she figured they would have. But then Eros had seemingly pissed off someone far stronger then they currently where and seemed uncaring about the consequences. Someone had erased all the pages of her books that had Hedone in it, and then it had affected Hymenaios too. Whatever Eros had done, she didn't want those two to be affected. She was only a muse, but she could still keep history alive.
Or at least try. A quick search on her computer had listed all the local universities, and from there it had been easy to find all the local history professors. She'd made sure to ask the God that seemed to be these universities if it was at all alright to influence the professors, not wanting to risk stepping on more toes. She knew this would be difficult enough. People where just not as open as they once where.
She wandered through the halls, looking for the names she had read and to find those she could influence. It would be easier to focus on those who specialized in their myths, so her first goal was to look for those. If all else failed she was sure she could talk to a few college students. It was a bit ironic though. Once mortals had begged at her heels to have her include them in history, to make them famous. Now she was the one chasing history.
