The kiss was unexpected and welcome and Emo returned it with just a little bit more enthusiasm than it was given to him. When he pulled away it was a touch of a head-rush, but he'd leeched off just that littlest bit of all that angst turning over in Johnny. Sure, it made all his insecurities slowly bubble up, but that was practically his comfort-zone. If he wasn't feeling a little off, there was something wrong, and being able to draw a little of that away from Johnny made him feel like he was actually doing something to help.
"Of course," he answered, smiling back at Johnny and closing the car door and making his way around to the other side. It was still chilly in there, and probably would be for a little while longer, even after Emo cranked up the heat. It was one of those negative side effects of being so closely linked with the glamorizing of death, being parked in a cemetery, and having your boyfriend being consumed with the idea of his fallen comrades all compounded. He was usually cold before... he was like a corpse now, the same kind of pale and almost colorless, though he was trying hard to push it back down.
"Are we going home?" he asked, "Or is there anywhere else you want to go?"
