Apollo, whether it be a good or a bad thing, could never forget his twin. He knew that whatever Daphne might be feeling now would be fleeting, and he refused to give her more reason to dislike him.
Glancing down at the head on his shoulder, Apollo gently brushed the hair from her face. "That's good to hear."
He could feel the awkwardness coming from her in waves and struggled to find a way to put her more at ease. Coming up with an idea, he took a deep breath.
"It is a nice day, are you hungry?" Perhaps he could distract her from whatever she was intending through food and conversation. "How about you join me for lunch, and then we can make sure Querry is alright?" He carefully stood up, reaching out a hand to help her to her feet.
