In the course of the obviously important things Apollo had to do, he figured checking up on Querry was par for the course. He had seen that the other local nymphs would be assisting the tree-bound dryad and figured it was his duty to make sure all was well. He loathed Valentine's Day with a passion unmatched only by his hatred of Eros, and while he had plans with Twee he was hoping he could avoid anything lovey-dovey today.
In a far more upbeat mood than he realized, Apollo was walking with a spring in his step as he made his way through the park. It was a lovely day, albeit chilly, and he was simply enjoying the way the snow made everything look new and pure. He was hopeful that his interactions with whatever nymphs showed up here would be pleasant, however if not he knew better than to linger where he might be unwanted.
He could feel someone nearby, his heart growing lighter as he turned a corner and she came into view. He could feel that familiar warmth suffuse his cheeks as he smiled pleasantly, keeping a respectful distance even as his heart urged him closer. While he may still feel love towards her, he knew how Daphne felt about him and didn't want to risk hurting her once again.
Finding a place to sit nearby, but not too near, he offered her a kind wave.
