Who: Daphne and Apollo When: Forward dated to Sunday, February 14th Where: Central Park Warnings: Eros' arrows hit their mark. Cuteness/awkwardness abounds? TBD
All in all, Daphne figured this was just another day. When Echo and Querry gotten worried she'd packed up everything and made her way to New York. A few bus drives and a couple of miles of walking later found her in the park, scanning the area to see what could be wrong. The holiday that seemed to glorify Eros she had long pushed from her mind. She'd tossed all the hearts left at her cabin out and given the roses to the lake. It seemed the better option.
If anything was wrong, Daphne did not notice. She would speak with Querry and get to the bottom of this. She had no idea the trick Eros had pulled on her. Again. The fact that her usual emotional state had shifted hadn't become apparent. Not yet. Right now the snow looked rather beautiful. She'd always enjoyed it. Everything just looked so...peaceful. She could drown out the sounds of the city, drown out everything but just her. She could just be Daphne.
She grinned and spun around on her heels, letting the snow kick up around her. Never too old to be silly. At least every so often. She laughed, and ran her fingers through her hair. She felt...giddy. Lighter. Somehow happy without having a true cause. Having never felt love before, Daphne had no idea what she was feeling. One name came to mind, but it made no sense. Something was driving her toward, instead of away. She felt no need to run, felt no more fear or disdain. Everything but.
With a shake of her head she dropped herself in the snow, looking up at the sky as if it would give her the answers she was looking for.
