Apollo glanced down at their intertwined fingers as he listened to Twee speak. "Yes, you do flirt with me, but that doesn't mean the only reason why I've cultivated your interest in me is so that I can get you alone and ravish you. I do actually appreciate your company and enjoy being around you." He enjoyed her honesty and her belief that she had no reason to hold back with him. It was one of the things that made her quintessentially Twee in his book. "That's good, my dear, as I don't have any expectations either. Perhaps we'll simply talk, and perhaps more will happen. I'm leaving it up to you." he responded, shrugging as well.
He concentrated on his driving while she adjusted her clothing for the heat levels in the car, giving Twee a soft smile as she spoke again. "That's always a good thing," he agreed. "Most people seem to start out liking their roommate but then later on realize they didn't mesh nearly as well as they initially believed they would. I hope that this is not the case for you, as I would enjoy continuing to hear that all is going well with your college adventures. Did you go anywhere special?" He hadn't gone out much since coming to the city, in fact this was his first real journey away from his sister's place.
"Oh, settling in with Artemis is never a problem," he smirked. "Things in New Orleans will probably never be settled, but I was needed here and my sister and father take precedence."
