Who: Adonis and Apollo Where: Manhattan apartment building, street level When: Early afternoon Rating: Shouldn't go very high.
Winter had started and Adonis just wanted to curl up into a ball and sleep until it was warm again. What little nature there was in New York City had gone dormant, retreating below the snow and soil to await the reappearance of spring. Thankfully, he still could keep his plants indoors and his new apartment was much bigger than his old one. It was pricey, but Adonis' face was splashed on billboards all over town, as he'd been hired to work the Gucci winter campaign, and now he could afford to spend money on luxuries. It was odd, he thought as he lifted up a box from the moving van, sidestepping one of his mortal friends who were helping him move, odd to see his face around town, but he did like the money.
It was ironic though, that there happened to be one of his billboards in plain sight of his new apartment building. That prompted no small amount of teasing from his friends, even as they had a victory beer once everything was moved in... for they could still see it from the window. Shaking his head and laughing, he shooed his friends out eventually and started unpacking, placing his plants carefully around his apartment. After watering them and making sure they liked their new home, Adonis dressed warmly, thinking about heading downstairs for a cigarette. His plants didn't like smoke and he wanted a cigarette badly enough to brave the cold.
Once outside, he took a seat on the stone steps up to the building, lighting up his cigarette and leaning back against the cold stone. Giving the billboard a dismissive glance, he instead tilted his head toward the sun, wanting all the warmth he could get. Adonis was definitely not a fan of winter.
