Who: Indie (as Izzy) and Blues What: Busting the old man from the clink. When: Tuesday night. Where: 13th Precinct. Lower Midtown Manhattan. Warning: Oh who knows...
Coming up with Blues' bail was no more effort than reaching into the gnome-shaped cookie jar in the kitchen and pulling out a few bills. The difficult part was deciding what to wear. He'd been lounging around the apartment in a pair of sweatpants and an old Iron Maiden t-shirt, but that wasn't fit for going out in public in, so inevitably, Indie ended up standing in the middle of his closet, looking from one side to the other, trying to decide what he was going to wear.
Skinny jeans, a given, those were tossed on the bed. Then it was joined by a clean Hey Monday t-shirt and an oversized black sweater and he was about to reach for a pair of Converse when he noticed... A pair of knee-high black boots with a little kitten heel and pointed toes.
Oh yes, he was going to change back into Izzy just for a pair of cute boots.
The change was as easy as it ever was and a moment later she was dressed with her bright pink hair up in a sloppy ponytail and a pink scarf wrapped around her neck. Then it was just a matter of driving there. And to be honest, it wasn't the first time she'd been in that building, but as Ian and not as Isabella.
There were a few cat-calls and whistles while she walked towards the desk, which she just went "Oh, you boys..." at. The officer behind the desk smiled at her and asked her what she needed, to which she replied, "Need to bail out Music Man over there, sweetheart. You boys take cash?"
A few snickers and comments followed, but Indie was given the paperwork and Blues was let out of wherever they were keeping him to be brought to her.
