"Of course. I'm sure Rhea will be delighted. And Poseidon - well, he will be polite, at least, if not quiet." There was something wrong with the boy - he seemed fine around the other Olympians and the women he had acquired for himself, but around Cronus and Rhea, the ruler of the seas reverted to some... weird, reserved little creature.
"I am glad to have you back. Soon, nephew. Soon, blood will stain this cursed earth. Your arrival here will not be for nothing."
Yes - things were slowly falling into place. Cronus thought himself at a disadvantage with the other Titanes and Titanides absent, but he was garnering support with the others. With the pantheon in its current state, running the show with Rhea might not be that big of an issue.
After all, though the Olympian presence was strong, Cronus was only counting on having to deal with Zeus, Hades, Hera, Athena, Apollo and Artemis. Grandson Ares was easily his for the taking - all he had to do was make contact with the young man. The others could hardly be considered usable for war.
Of course, dealing with the smith would also make things somewhat easier. In this day and age he wasn't counting on clashing swords and shields, but Hephaestus... could be an issue.
"I expect you can deal with your own children," Cronus said, pushing that thought to the back of his mind for now.
"It is hardly a crime to indulge the wife, but I would hate for anything untoward to happen to them. Especially with you only just having arrived here."
