Cam just nodded. It had become second nature to make sure he was facing her whenever he spoke to her, whether she had her hearing aids in or not. So second nature that, sometimes, he completely forgot about what others would see as a disability and he just saw as another part of Mischa to like, and maybe even love, although he wasn't planning on voicing that word aloud any time soon.
She rolled them and even though Cam had thought he was fully awake, he felt something else stir in his mind. Then, noises that Mischa couldn't hear and Cam didn't care about sounded; the ring of a phone in the apartment next to Cam and light sounds of movement that signaled that Cam's boss had an eye on the situation.
Later, Cam might remember the sound of the phone and wonder how Marc knew. Later, Cam might regret kissing Mischa back when there was obviously something wrong.
But it wasn't later yet and Cam was twenty years old, male, and had a beautiful woman in his bed. A hand slid to the small of her back, the other tangled in her hair and he kissed her lovingly.
Later, when Matt teased him and Wes asked what it was like - because, of course, the entire Highway would know - Cam would only glare at them both and tell Dave, privately, that it was better than any inhalation on a joint or railing of a line.
