It had taken a decent amount of effort, and a little wheedling on her part, but eventually, Adrestia had tracked down her brother. She hid nearby, watching his movements and trying to deduce if he was there alone. The cold did not bother her, not when her excitement ran high and the hunt was on. Her nails dug into the frozen bark of the evergreen tree she had been perched in, the prickly needles ruthless in their silent attack, but providing ample coverage as she watched her brother wander around the cabin. How hard it had been not to cackle aloud when she watched the massive drift come crashing down on his head, and the ripe curses that followed immediately thereafter.
Taking full advantage of his moment of disorientation, Adrestia drew her feet underneath of herself before launching herself out of the tree and onto her brother, the impact knocking them both to the ground in a heap of tangled limbs and icy snow. That she only managed to knock the wind out of herself in the process was moot, even as she struggled to get back enough air to crow properly.
