Charybdis was silent for a long moment, watching him as he grew misted and distant. He was thinking about her words, really feeling them and since that is what she wanted, she could not stop him from doing so by offering more words. When he finally spoke again, that gentle voice, that nearly broken tone, it broke her heart and lowered her resolve.
She had gotten through to him, or at least she had reminded him of something that had gotten through to him. There wasn't any more she could do but to accept his apology then. If he was genuinely sorry enough to think about it, she had no choice. She dipped her head and then turned to face him, her green eyes soft. The tiny goddess opened her arms for him.
