Have I gone up in the world Who: Kratos (fortified) & Zeus (rules_them_all) What: Catching up, reporting in. Where: Rooftop terrace of Zeus' penthouse; Manhattan When: Thursday afternoon Warnings: None
'Tempest in a teacup' he'd called it and up until now, hysterical siblings aside, nothing had happened to prove him wrong. His honour guard was watching the two Titans and if anything had come up, they would have informed Zeus. Since he hadn't heard so much as a cheep from them, he'd continued with business as usual.
Well, not really. Having Poseidon around was not unpleasant or annoying, but his brother wasn't exactly the kind of company he normally kept. Actually, nothing was currently normal but what did 'normal' mean anyway? He continued to ponder this and that while his gaze drifted across the city, grazing the horizon broken up by buildings.
It seemed almost as if he'd forgotten that he had company and that said company had been standing behind him for almost half an hour now. Dusk was settling when Zeus finally lifted his hand and waved Kratos over.
"Come here. It'll save us from having to shout at each other to make ourselves heard."
