"More important?" he repeated, brows furrowing. "No, not at all. I know Evan will drop everything for the band, for any of us, if we're having a problem. Bros before hos and all that. And we'd all do the same for him - if he ever asked for help, that is." He raked a hand through his hair and sighed softly, laying his head back and trying to let the feeling of the drug wash over him before he made any attempt to answer again.
"I just respect the guy," he answered. "If he was a tool, I'd have a problem with it. But he seems pretty decent. You know, other than having a lot of baggage - but fuck, Evan still has a U-Haul worth of baggage over anything Johnny's got. Of everyone he's dated, I like Johnny the best. I can't say that I think they're good for each other or not, because I don't know the guy well enough. But Evan's happy - a hell of a lot happier than he's been with anyone else. And I've gotta give a guy some credit for managing that."
