"Think they can take over the world and the mortals better than we ever could," Aphrodite supplied with a roll of her eyes as brought out a bottle of red wine from the fridge and poured herself a glass.
"But we both know that's a load of nonsense. Along with the Christians, it's laughable at how they try to hold their heads high, but falling all the same."
The goddess sighed dramatically as she sat down across from her daughter, the glass in one hand and the other directing her speech. She took a sip of wine before continuing, the light in her eyes changing to one of a more mischievous nature.
"So I figured, why not bring down two birds with one stone?"
A slow smile spread itself across her lips, none of it any good news.
"Tell me, my darling. What does one get when you put a New God and a Christian together?"
