Blues didn't move a single muscle as she took his hands, guiding them to the warm skin under her fleece. He met her eyes, slowly blinking as he attempted to understand what she might have to gain from being so sweet in entertaining an old man such as himself, but he realized there was no real way to figure out another persons' motivations and mentally dropped the matter. Instead, he kept his hands there for a moment, nodding slightly as he prayed that his hands weren't as chilled as he assumed them to be. "Thank you, little miss, don't think my hands have felt such warmth in ages."
His voice was equally soft as he glanced down at his feet and chuckled slightly. "Pool on the roof, huh? Is that so you can go swimming in the rain and snow, or so you can watch the city while you relax?" He found the idea of a pool on a roof to be one of those odd things only the well-to-do might consider useful. "Well thank you kindly, ma'am. I don't hear that often, most people think I sound gritty, not pretty."
