Blues hadn't even realized that there was a chill in the air, his threadbare coat and fingerless gloves providing little protection now that Charybdis had made him aware of the current temperature. He had spent so long caught-up in what others were feeling and consumed by that his own possible needs or wants seemed foreign until they were brought to his attention.
"It's alright, baby girl," he murmured, shrugging slightly as he glanced where she pointed. "Got some fancy digs there, sweetheart." He grinned at the light feeling of her touching his fingertips, flexing his digits under her grasp. "I was out here seeking inspiration, been feeling a mite low lately, needed to see some happy faces like your own to remind me how to smile. Wasn't cold 'til I thought about it." He shrugged, as though he couldn't think of anything further to say.
